Who are PCE members?

A PCE member can be any person who has an intellectual disability, acquired brain injury or complex communication disability and is also from a non-English speaking background.

What can you do as a PCE member?

A PCE member can:

  • go to any PCE events online or face to face, such as the PCE Talks or the PCE Feast

  • get involved in making resources and delivering training

  • have a say in changes to the law and policies that PCE is consulting on or campaigning on

  • get relevant news and information about self advocacy

  • come to the PCE Decision-Making Meetings.

How do I become a PCE member?

PCE accepts new members at any time. A person can join PCE by contacting us. We add you to our members’ contact list.

This list has details such as:

• name

• phone number

• email address.

This is private information. We keep this safe.

Membership is free.

At any time, you can be asked to be taken off the members’ list. You would stop being a PCE member.
